If my mind was a library

If my mind was a library
Full of shelves
Stacked with poems, fiction and novels,
Political, philosophical, scientific stuff,
You could be sure to find a little blue book
With notes about you.

And if my mind was a street
Full of busy life
Supermarkets, offices, restaurants,
Next to the movies, the video store, a gas station,


Full of planets
With meteors and dark holes and gazy bubbles swirling around
You could be sure to find me sitting on a star,
Dangling my feet and waiting for you.
